Learn how you can earn a Battlefield 6 beta code just by watching your favorite Twitch streamers.

The multiplayer reveal event for Battlefield 6 has come and gone, and the community got a look at what EA and Dice have been cooking up for the past few years. It's safe to say that Battlefield is all the way back, with reception to the multiplayer and other announcements as positive as they've been since the days of Battlefield 3 + 4. Fortunately for fans, Battlefield 6 will hold Closed and Open Betas over the next two weeks, and you can gain access through pre-ordering the game or scoring beta code Twitch Drops.

While pre-ordering one of the Battlefield 6 editions will cost you some money up front, earning a Twitch Drop requires you to have some RNG on your side. If you want to see exactly how you can get a Twitch Drop for the Battlefield 6 beta, take a look at the guide below.

Earning Twitch Drops for the Battlefield 6 beta

Luckily, getting a Twitch Drop doesn't require you to do too much. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of luck involved, so if you absolutely want to play Battlefield 6 the moment the Closed Beta is released, then you'll want to pre-order one of the editions.

If you decide to go through Twitch Drops, all you have to do is watch Battlefield 6 streamers who have "Drops Enabled" on their channel while they're playing the game. You can pull up multiple streamers' broadcasts to potentially increase your odds of receiving a Twitch Drop, but just watching one streamer will suffice for the drop. There's no guaranteed amount of time you have to watch for to receive a drop. You could theoretically watch all day and still not receive one, so don't bank all of your hopes on getting a Twitch Drop.

It's possible you could have scored a Twitch Drop with a beta code by watching a streamer at the multiplayer reveal event, but if you didn't, you'll have to wait until the Closed Beta begins.

We were fortunate enough to score a beta code during the multiplayer reveal, and to check if you got one, you can simply click on the present icon located in the top-right corner of the Twitch website. You'll see the message below if you earned a Twitch Drop for the beta:

We already redeemed our code, so don't try and use the one you see in the screenshot. If you see that message pop up at all while watching a Twitch streamer, then click on it and you'll be directed to the Battlefield website. Here, you can link your EA account to Twitch and then redeem your beta code that you received through Twitch. Make sure to also specify the platform you want to play the beta on, as your code can only be used on a single platform (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S).

After you've redeemed your code and linked your accounts, all you have to do is wait for the pre-load period for the beta and then the beta date itself. The Closed Beta begins on August 7, so that's when you'll first be able to start playing.

Hopefully, EA and Twitch are lenient with the beta codes for viewers hoping to score one through Twitch Drops. If you don't end up getting a code or pre-ordering Battlefield 6, you can still hop into the Open Beta starting on August 9.
