The Cypher 901 is a strong addition to the AR class in Black Ops 6.

Out of all the new weapons that arrived at the start of Season 2 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the Cypher 901 just might be the best of the bunch. The assault rifle has terrific accuracy, damage range, and handling, making it a true threat at all ranges in multiplayer. Of course, the Cypher 901 can always be improved if you use its strongest loadout.

There are plenty of different ways to go when it comes to designing a loadout for the Cypher 901, as it's quite a versatile weapon. However, the loadout we've put together below improves all stats for the AR in Black Ops 6.

By default, the Cypher 901 has great accuracy and damage range, so it doesn't truly have a weak point that needs to be addressed with a specific attachment. As such, we can instead focus on improving the Cypher's existing strong stats to make it even more of a powerhouse.

You can see our recommended loadout for the Cypher 901 below:

  1. Optic: Kepler Microflex
  2. Muzzle: Compensator
  3. Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  4. Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  5. Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip

This is a fairly standard loadout for an assault rifle in Black Ops 6. It improves every pertinent stat for the Cypher 901 and doesn't lower any stats. While you can make the weapon more specialized with certain attachments, we've opted for a balanced approach.

The loadout begins with the classic Kepler Microflex optic, but you can trade it out for something else if you prefer. Then, the Compensator and the Vertical Foregrip come in to reduce vertical and horizontal recoil.

Following those attachments up is the Reinforced Barrel to provide extra damage range and bullet velocity, which are arguably the two weak points of the Cypher 901. Finally, the Ergonomic Grip increases all your important mobility stats, such as slide to fire speed and aim down sights speed.

It's not a flashy loadout by any means in Black Ops 6, but it gets the job done. If you're interested in other Season 2 weapons, we also have best loadout guides for the new FENG 82 and PPSh-41.
