Warzone has gained a new and strong LMG, but what’s its best loadout?

The new FENG 82 light machine gun is one of the more unique weapons in the entirety of Call of Duty: Warzone following the Season 2 update. It's classified as an LMG, but it shoots incredibly slow, has a 30-round magazine by default, and features average handling. By all accounts, the FENG 82 seems like a slow-firing assault rifle. However, when equipped with the right loadout, the FENG 82 can actually turn into a solid long-range LMG in Warzone.

While you can design a loadout for yourself, you can also make things easier and take a look at our suggest loadout for the FENG 82 in the guide below.

Best FENG 82 loadout in Warzone Season 2

There are a couple of different ways for you to go when considering the loadout for the FENG 82. Since it has such a slow fire rate, you would think Rapid Fire is the best overall attachment to use. However, Rapid Fire also brings a lot of unwanted negatives, such as reductions in damage range and recoil control.

You can see the way we went with our FENG 82 loadout below:

  1. Optic: Willis 3x
  2. Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  3. Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  4. Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  5. Magazine: Extended Mag I
  6. Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  7. Stock: Balanced Stock
  8. Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

This loadout utilizes the Gunfighter Wildcard in Warzone, as the FENG 82 does need plenty of help with its attachments to keep up with other meta weapons.

To start, we have the Willis 3x optic, which can be subbed out for something like the Jason Armory 2x if you prefer. Following the optic up is the Ported Compensator and the Vertical Foregrip, with the former reducing vertical and first-shot recoil and the latter bringing down horizontal recoil. The Recoil Springs Fire Mod also increases your recoil control across the board, so the FENG 82 shouldn't move much when firing.

Up next is the Reinforced Barrel for added damage range and bullet velocity, which the FENG 82 definitely needs, especially at longer ranges. The next two attachments are for mobility purposes, and the Ergonomic Grip covers your handling while the Balanced Stock improves overall mobility with the weapon.

Finally, we've added the Extended Mag I so the FENG 82 can actually feel like an LMG. This boosts your magazine size to 50, up from 30.

And that does it for the best FENG 82 loadout in Warzone. If you swap over to Black Ops 6 multiplayer, make sure to check out our loadout for the FENG 82 in that mode as well.
