The Jackal PDW is meta in Warzone, too.

The Call of Duty: Warzone integration with Black Ops 6 is finally live, and players can now use all of the newest weapons in the battle royale. As you might expect, attempting to find the meta after a massive update proved challenging at first, with the community trying out a flurry of guns. However, after some testing in the new Warzone, players have discovered the close range meta starts with the Jackal PDW submachine gun.

The Jackal PDW is arguably the best SMG in multiplayer, and it appears that has transferred over to Warzone. If you're looking to get the most out of the Jackal PDW on Area 99, then you'll want its absolute strongest loadout.

How to unlock the Jackal PDW in Warzone

Whether you're hopping into Warzone after playing Black Ops 6 or not, you'll need to unlock all of the guns as normal. This means working your way through the 10 prestiges and unlocking everything bit by by.

The Jackal PDW is unlocked at level 43 in Warzone, regardless of what prestige you're currently on. If you're solely going to play Warzone, using a Prestige Token on the SMG might be a good idea. That way, if you want to prestige, you don't lose it once you're reset back to level one.

Attachments for the best Jackal PDW loadout in Warzone

Once you have the Jackal PDW unlocked, you can equip the best attachments for it (after leveling it up). The attachments for the Jackal in Warzone differ slightly from its multiplayer loadout, so the two aren't necessarily transferrable. You can see our attachment selections below:

  1. Muzzle: Compensator
  2. Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  3. Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  4. Magazine: Extended Mag II
  5. Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

We'll also give you two more attachments to use if you want to equip the Gunfighter wildcard:

  1. Rear Grip: Commando Grip
  2. Stock: No Stock

Regardless of if you use the Gunfighter wildcard or not, this Jackal PDW loadout shreds enemies at close to mid-range in Warzone. All of your major stats are boosted with the exception of handling. However, that's not a terrible tradeoff, as the Jackal already has some of the best handling in the SMG class.

Your damage range and bullet velocity is boosted with the Reinforced Barrel while accuracy is greatly improved by using the Compensator, Vertical Foregrip, and Recoil Springs. Finally, the Extended Mag II offers 50 bullets in every magazine, which is an extra 20 compared to the base magazine.

As expected, the Jackal PDW won't consistently kill at longer ranges with the strong rifles available in Warzone. While you can get away with using the Jackal as your primary weapon on Area 99, you'd likely want to use the Overkill wildcard. This way, your primary can be a long-range weapon and the Jackal can be the secondary you pull out at closer ranges.

That wraps up the Jackal PDW loadout in Warzone. While you're here, make sure to check out our guide on the new crown Clan Tag that some players are rocking in Season 1.
