The KSV is a highly underrated submachine gun in Black Ops 6, and here’s the best loadout for it.
The KSV is a brand-new submachine gun (SMG) that we've never seen before in the Call of Duty franchise. It's the second SMG you unlock through the leveling process and might not seem like a better option over the C9 or Jackal PDW. However, if you're looking for a diamond in the rough or a possible meta weapon in Black Ops 6, look no further than the KSV.
By default, the KSV does have a little bit of kick, but that can easily be toned down with some attachments. Once you have a loadout going, the KSV becomes one of the strongest weapons in Black Ops 6. Below, we'll build the entire loadout for the KSV so you can start dominating with it right away.
How to unlock the KSV in Black Ops 6
The KSV is unlocked at level 7 in Black Ops 6. This is easily reached just by playing a few matches of multiplayer or Zombies, so you shouldn't have to go too long without the SMG before being able to use it.
To equip the KSV once you reach level 7, go into the Loadouts tab, select a primary weapon, scroll over to the SMG category, and select the KSV.
Attachments for the best KSV loadout in Black Ops 6 multiplayer
Let's kick things off with the attachments for the KSV loadout. Since the KSV is an SMG, we're going to include some mobility attachments to help you in those close-range gunfights. However, we can't forget about the KSV's recoil either.
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
This loadout has just about everything to make the KSV the perfect all-around SMG in multiplayer. The Compensator takes care of any kick concerns with the KSV, drastically improving vertical recoil control. Next, the Reinforced Barrel adds plenty of extra damage range for those longer range gunfights.
The rest of the loadout is focused more on mobility. The Ranger Foregrip does add a bit more accuracy, but also improves sprinting move speed. Finally, the Ergonomic Grip and Balanced Stock both improve movement speeds across the board as well as sprint to fire speed, aim down sights speed, and dive to fire speed.
Best secondary weapon for the KSV
Moving on in your loadout, it's time to pick a secondary weapon. So far, one of the more surprising pistols has been the 9mm PM, which is the default pistol you unlock in Black Ops 6.
Until you unlock a stronger pistol you want to try out, the 9mm PM is going to be the best option for you on the KSV loadout.

Best tactical and lethal equipment for the KSV
The next step in filling out your loadout is equipping a piece of tactical and lethal equipment. When you first start out in Black Ops 6, you won't have much unlocked in either category, but getting past level 30 gives you many more options to choose from.
- Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenade/Stim Shot (unlocked at level 30)
- Lethal Equipment: Semtex
The Flash Grenade should be your tactical of choice until you unlock the Stim Shot at level 30. Fortunately, you unlock the Semtex at an early level, so you'll have that equipped most of the time.
Best perks and wildcard for the KSV
Finally, you can equip a set of perks and a wildcard to complete your KSV loadout. The wildcard you choose will depend on your level, as the best one isn't unlocked until level 54. However, for the perks, you can equip most of the ones you need at a decently low level.
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Fast Hands
- Perk 3: Double Time
- Perk 4: Flak Jacket/Ghost
- Wildcard: Perk Greed
This is the best set of all-around perks in Black Ops 6. They allow you to stay stealthy on the map and give you protection from grenades. Perk Greed isn't unlocked until level 54, so you'll have to use something else until then. Once you Prestige, it's highly recommended to use a Prestige Token on Perk Greed so you can always have it unlocked in Black Ops 6.
