The SG-12 can be a dominant shotgun in Black Ops 7, but only if you have the right loadout.
The SG-12 is a brand new shotgun that was added during the Escalation Drive event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2. You can earn the shotgun by completing nine challenges in one section of the event. The sections are divided into the four game modes in COD, and the challenges require you to use every class of weapon. Once you have the SG-12 unlocked in Black Ops 7, you can start leveling it up to eventually equip its best loadout.

Best loadout for the SG-12 in Black Ops 7
The SG-12 is a semi-automatic shotgun that thrives at close range and is virtually useless at anything beyond 10 meters. However, that can be slightly changed with the addition of a few key attachments that turn the SG-12 into a force to be reckoned with, but only if you have the accuracy.
Here's our recommended loadout for the SG-12:
- Barrel: 17" Universal Barrel
- Magazine: H-Comb Extended Mag
- Rear Grip: Align-Lite Grip
- Laser: 3MW Motion Strike Laser
- Fire Mods: 12 Gauge Slug

The key component of this SG-12 loadout is the 12 Gauge Slug rounds, which make you fire single bullets instead of several bullets in a spread. This gives you extra damage, but means you need to be very accurate to land shots. Fortunately, we've added attachments to boost damage range and bullet velocity, which are reduced by the slug rounds, and mobility so you can raise your gun quicker.
