Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 released on Nov. 10 but, when does the Season 1 Battle Pass for CoD MW3 kick off?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 released on Nov. 10, 2023, but the game’s first Battle Pass didn’t arrive with it. So what gives? Where is the CoD MW3 Season 1 Battle Pass, when does it release, and why didn’t it launch with the game’s release? Here’s everything you need to know:
When does the Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass release?
The Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass will release December 6, 2023, the first week of December. This was confirmed in a trailer for the season that dropped on Dec. 1, showcasing some of the details of the upcoming season.
Why didn’t Season 1 release with CoD MW3?
Call of Duty: MW3 didn’t release with its Season 1 Battle Pass due to the fact that MW2 and Warzone were currently still in the middle of Season 6. As a result, the decision was made to delay the release of Season 1 for MW3 until the end of Season 6. This means no one’s MW2 or Warzone progress will go to waste, and we’ll likely get two Warzone seasons back-to-back.
