Holiday Cheer Score is one of the tougher challenges in the Naughty and Nice event.
The Naughty and Nice event has gone live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and with it comes the new Holiday Havoc game mode. This game mode is a 6v6 moshpit of regular maps and modes, but there are some added bonuses you can earn by getting score during a match. If you want to complete the Naughty and Nice event in Black Ops 7, you'll have to complete a challenge that requires you to earn "Holiday Cheer Score" in the Holiday Havoc mode.
If you're confused or struggling with this challenge, fear not, as you can see exactly how to complete it in the guide below.
Getting Holiday Cheer Score in Black Ops 7

For the Naughty and Nice challenge, you need to earn a total of 2,500 Holiday Cheer Score. Doesn't seem too difficult at first glance, right? Well, the way you go about earning that score can be a little confusing and slow. You'll find that even after you know how to effectively earn Holiday Cheer Score, you'll still earn it at a snail's pace. Regardless, though, you need to know how to get Holiday Cheer Score before worrying about how much you're earning.
Holiday Cheer Score is earned by playing matches in Holiday Havoc, but during a match in the mode, you need to take specific actions. These actions include the following:
- Calling in support scorestreaks, such as the UAV, Counter-UAV, HARP (you'll see "Holiday Cheer Reveal Assist" appear on your HUD after using one of these streaks)
- Getting kills and acquiring new bonuses (can be tracked by looking at the bottom-left of your HUD)
- Opening Care Packages and using the scorestreaks inside (Care Packages randomly drop all throughout a Holiday Havoc match)

Those are the primary ways you'll earn Holiday Cheer Score in Holiday Havoc. However, as we said before, the rate at which you earn this type of score is low, no matter how well you're doing in a particular match. Every "Holiday Cheer Reveal Assist" you get only earns you +25 score, and getting kills and opening Care Packages will also give you low score.
So, with all that said, you'll need to play a fair amount of matches in Holiday Havoc to earn enough Holiday Cheer Score and complete the Naughty and Nice challenge in Black Ops 7. As long as you're using support scorestreaks, opening Care Packages, and getting kills, though, it shouldn't take you more than 5-10 matches to complete the challenge.
