Crack open a can of Monster and earn some exclusive rewards in Black Ops 7.
For several years now, Call of Duty has teamed up with certain companies to offer promotions for in-game rewards. One of the longest-running partnerships Call of Duty has maintained is with Monster Energy, and the two titans of industry are teaming up yet again in Black Ops 7. Just like previous years, players can purchase specific Monster Energy products to receive codes that they can redeem for exclusive Black Ops 7 rewards.
Below, you can see exactly how the Monster promotion works, all of the possible rewards you can earn, and how to redeem the codes you get for buying certain products.
Redeeming Monster Energy codes in Black Ops 7
For starters, you can only find codes that can be used in Black Ops 7 on specific cans of Monster Energy drinks. Here's the list of cans that are running the promotion:
- Monster Energy
- Monster Zero Sugar
- Monster Zero Ultra
These cans will be marked with the Black Ops 7 logo, letting you know that they are compatible with the promotion. Any can of Monster you see that doesn't have the Call of Duty name on it will not work.
Once you have your Black Ops 7 cans of Monster, you need to pop open the pull tab on top of the can. This is the only way to reveal the code that will then be used to redeem rewards in Black Ops 7. So, essentially, you need to actually drink the can of Monster to get the code; you can't look at the can itself, get the reward, and then put it back on the shelf in a retail store, for example.
After you pop open the pull tab of a can, look underneath it to see your code. With the code, head to the Monster Energy x Call of Duty website to start the process of redeeming it. Here's how that process works:
- On the Monster Energy x Call of Duty website, select the "View All Rewards" button
- Then, select "Register/Login" to create or sign into an existing account on Monster
- Once you're signed in, go to the "Redeem" tab at the top-left of the screen
- Select the retailer you purchased your Monster can from, and then enter the code under the pull tab
- Press "Submit Code"
- If your code was correct, you'll see a message that it's been successfully redeemed
- Once your code has been redeemed, you'll receive an email that gives you a code to redeem on Activision's website. You can also go to the "Rewards" tab on the Monster website to see every code you've redeemed
- Head to the Redeem page on Activision's website once you have your code and sign into your Activision account
- Redeem the code in the text box
- If everything goes right, your Monster rewards will be waiting the next time you log into Black Ops 7
So, you'll have to redeem two separate codes on two different websites to receive your rewards, but the process isn't too difficult.
All Monster Energy rewards in Black Ops 7
Now that we've covered how to redeem the Monster rewards in Black Ops 7, how about seeing what the rewards actually are? You can see each one below:
- Energy Flash Large Decal + 15 Min Double XP
- Peacekeeper Mk 1 Hyper Green Weapon Blueprint + 15 Min Double XP
- Green Fury Operator Skin + 15 Min Double XP
- VS Recon Green Thunder Weapon Blueprint + 15 Min Double XP
- Daylight Ripper Operator Skin + 15 Min Double XP
- 15 Min Double XP for every code after you redeem the five initial rewards
The way the rewards work is that you get them in the order you see above. So your first code will redeem the Energy Flash Large Decal. There are five total in-game rewards you can earn through the Monster promotion in Black Ops 7.
However, every code you redeem also comes with 15 minutes of Double XP. Every code you redeem after you receive the five main rewards will just give you the 15 minutes of Double XP, and nothing more. Of course, that's better than nothing, so if you buy a 15-pack of Monster Energy, you'll be able to redeem all of those codes for rewards, even if 10 of the rewards are just Double XP.
