There are over a dozen Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7, and here’s how to unlock each one.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to feature a slew of different grinds. From regular Prestige to Weapon Prestige to participating in the new Campaign Endgame mode, the game certainly won't be lacking progression at launch. However, one grind that stands out from the rest in Black Ops 7 is earning Mastery Camos.
Mastery Camos are returning in Black Ops 7, and there are more of them than ever to earn across every mode. While this means you'll have more camo options for your weapons, it also means that players have a lengthy grind ahead of them. You can see how to earn every Mastery Camo in BO7 in the guide below.
All Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7
In total, there are 16 Mastery Camos in BO7. This consists of four Mastery Camos each in multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and, for the first time ever, Campaign. We've never seen earnable camos in Campaign, but with BO7 featuring progression across every mode and the new Endgame mode, it makes sense for Treyarch to give players more rewards for playing the single-player mode. You can also earn Weapon Prestige Camos in BO7, but those are different from Mastery Camos.

How to earn the Mastery Camos in Black Ops 7
All of the 30 launch weapons in BO7 will have a set of base camos that can be earned by completing challenges (getting headshots, earning longshots, etc.). Once those base camos are earned on a weapon, you can unlock the first Mastery Camo.
After you earn the first Mastery Camo for every weapon in a category, you unlock the second Mastery Camo. The other two Mastery Camos will have to be unlocked after you've earned two Mastery Camos on every weapon in the game. So, if you're doing the math, that's a lot of weapon grinding if you want to unlock all 16 Mastery Camos available in BO7 and Warzone.
Fortunately, if you want to simplify your grind, here's how to earn every Mastery Camo across all three modes in Black Ops 7:
Campaign
- Molten Gold - Eliminate 20 Special enemies
- Moonstone - In Endgame, eliminate 100 Zone III or Zone IV enemies
- Chroma Flux - In Endgame, eliminate 10 Elite enemies
- Genesis - Unlock Chroma Flux on 30 total weapons
Multiplayer
- Shattered Gold - Get 3 kills without dying 10 times
- Arclight - Get 10 Double Kills or better
- Tempest - Get 5 Kills without dying 3 times
- Singularity - Unlock Tempest on 30 total weapons
Zombies
- Golden Dragon - Get 10 Kills rapidly 15 times
- Bloodstone - Get 20 or more consecutive kills without taking damage 5 times
- Doomsteel - Get 10 Eliminations while in the Top 10
- Infestation - Unlock Doomsteel on 30 total weapons
These challenges apply to every weapon in Black Ops 7. So when you're going for the same Mastery Camo for the MXR-17 or the MPC-25 in multiplayer, you'll still need to complete the same challenge. For example, if you're going for Shattered Gold in multiplayer, the challenge to "get 3 kills without dying 10 times" is the same for both the MXR-17 and MPC-25 and every other weapon in Black Ops 7.
Fortunately, you really only need to complete challenges for the first three Mastery Camos. As soon as you unlock the third Mastery Camo for all weapons in any game mode, you automatically unlock the fourth and final Mastery Camo for all weapons. So once you unlock Tempest for all weapons in multiplayer, you'll immediately unlock Singularity for all weapons.
