Old reliable is back in Warzone.
Verdansk is coming back in Call of Duty: Warzone, and the map is bringing plenty of its friends with it at the start of Season 3. One of those friends is the Kilo 141, which is coming back with Verdansk and some other classic weapons, such as the HDR and Kali Sticks. However, the Kilo 141 isn't unlocked in Warzone like those two weapons.
Instead, every player can earn the Kilo 141 for absolutely free without as so much as playing a game of Black Ops 6 or Warzone. All you have to do is follow one easy step to unlock the Kilo 141. To make matters juicier, you can unlock the assault rifle before Verdansk even launches in Warzone. To see the full unlock method, keep reading the guide below.
Unlocking the Kilo 141 in Warzone
As heard on the recent COD Podcast, the Kilo 141 can be unlocked in both Warzone and Black Ops 6 by simply logging into the Warzone menu on April 2. This date is significant since Warzone will be taken offline starting at 9 am PT on April 2, which also happens to be the launch of Season 3 in Black Ops 6.
Warzone will be offline for one day and come back online on April 3 at 9 a.m. PT. When it comes back online, Verdansk will be playable in Warzone, and all of the content coming with the map will be available as well.
To unlock the Kilo 141, all you have to do is visit the Warzone menu at some point during the downtime between April 2 and April 3. If you log in too early or too late, you won't be able to unlock the Kilo 141 with this method. It's important to note that even if you don't own Black Ops 6, you can still go through the Warzone menu to unlock the weapon. Black Ops 6 is having a free-to-play period starting with Season 3 on April 2.

What if I miss the event?
If you can't log in to Warzone during that 24-hour period, you can still unlock the Kilo 141 through the Return to Verdansk event in Warzone. This event also offers the Kilo 141 for free, but you have to go through more hoops to earn it. There are challenges in the event you have to complete to unlock the Kilo 141, but the Kali Sticks are the main prize.
The Return to Verdansk event goes live with Verdansk and Season 3 in Warzone on April 3. In addition to the two aforementioned weapons, you can also unlock a variety of cosmetics, MW2019 operator skins, and more.
