Ranked Play is planned to arrive soon-ish in Black Ops 7.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to receive some of the best post-launch support we've ever seen from a game in the franchise. Developer Treyarch has stated that seven multiplayer maps will arrive before Season 1 is over, along with several weapons, game modes, and other content. However, some fans are curious how Ranked Play fits into this post-launch cycle of Black Ops 7.

So, when can we expect Ranked Play to drop in Black Ops 7?

Ranked Play coming with Season 2 in Black Ops 7

While we've been waiting for what seems like several months for Ranked Play to come out, we'll have to be patient for a little bit longer. Fortunately, we do know exactly when Ranked is coming to Black Ops 7. Activision and Treyarch confirmed that Ranked Play is arriving with the launch of Season 2, which is currently slated for Feb. 5.

In addition to Ranked Play, Season 2 will feature a ton of content for multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. We don't know specifics just yet, but fans can expect several weapons, multiplayer maps, and an all-new Battle Pass to work through as well as fresh events. While most of this content won't be coming to Ranked Play, it's possible that some of the new weapons or maybe a map or two could eventually make their way into the competitive mode.

We'll also see the best anti-cheat yet when Ranked Play drops, as Ricochet has been doing a better job of stopping cheaters before they get too far in BO7 and Warzone. This is mainly thanks to the new Secure Boot requirements for all PC players. Hopefully, Ricochet continues to perform valiantly when Ranked Play drops, but if you're on PC, you should still expect to see some cheating take place, especially on day one.
