The Armory is CS2’s newest cosmetic store page, but it works a little differently than the market.

The Armory Pass is the newest addition to Counter-Strike 2's store, and if you remember the ol' CS:GO operations, you'll be somewhat familiar with grinding out some CS2 and earning some cool skins for your guns.

If you're new to CS2, or can't remember exactly how the event pass works, we're here to help. Here's how to earn Armory Credits for your purchased Armory Passes in CS2.

The Armory Pass works similarly to the last couple of CS:GO operations in that you'll purchase the pass and then earn credits to spend in The Armory. You can only earn credits by purchasing the pass: These credits can't be bought, sold, or traded. Each pass costs $16 USD.

A maximum of 40 credits can be earned with one pass, but Valve has allowed players to earn more by purchasing and stacking multiple passes. Doing so unlocks credits at a faster rate. You can stack up to five passes at once. You must also have Prime status on your account to buy the Armory Pass.

You can earn Armory Pass EXP by playing any Valve game mode, but you'll get the most EXP and credits by completing Competitive and Premier matches.

These games run longer than your Deathmatch or Arms Race match, but the EXP bonus more than makes up for it. If you're not feeling like playing a full CS2 match, I suggest Arms Race as the games tend to be quick and fun.

Previously, Valve shipped a story-like quest list with the pass. Completing quests would get you the credits — but this time, you just have to play the game on Valve servers to earn the credits.
