Many people missed out on a decent Bump in the Night or haven't yet landed that god roll Cold Comfort. Heretic's Fervor is here to fill that Stasis rocket launcher gap, and it's got some great rolls for PvE. The clear god roll is Auto-Loading Holster and Explosive Light for that fire-and-forget burst damage.
Interestingly, Heretic's Fervor can roll with the Stasis-only perk Chill Clip, which can come in handy against champions or bosses. Bipod is also available in the second column. But, if you don't yet have a Stasis rocket that fills the boss damage role, Heretic's Fervor is easy to farm and the ideal pick for you.

Heretic's Fervor has some ideal perks for PvP, too! Tracking Module ensures this aggressive frame rocket will find it's mark. With high velocity from the barrel perk, escaping around walls will be nearly impossible.
Pair this with Quickdraw to ensure you'll be able to switch off your primary into your heavy as fast as possible. You could also go for Harmony or Vorpal Weapon to guarantee the kill, but at the same time, it's a rocket launcher — as long as you're accurate you won't need much of a damage boost!
How to get Heretic's Fervor in Destiny 2
Heretic's Fervor is an Episode: Revenant weapon, which means you'll need to run Episode: Revenant activities to get your hands on one. Be sure to pop a Heretic's Fervor tonic before you start to give yourself the best chance at getting one.
Since this weapon can't be crafted, you'll need to level up the weapon if you want enhanced perks. Once you unlock tier three enhancement, you can upgrade both main perks.
