Destiny 2’s Episode: Revenant saw us delve into Stasis, and the addition of the Liturgy grenade launcher couldn’t have been timed better.
Episode: Revenant is all about Stasis, and pairing your subclass with the right weapons is key. Fortunately, Bungie is throwing players a bone in the form of the Liturgy grenade launcher — and it's god roll is not one you'll want to skip.
Here's the best perks for Liturgy in Destiny 2 and how to get your hands on it!
What is the Liturgy god roll?
Liturgy PvE god roll
Column | Perk(s) |
---|---|
Barrel | Volatile Launch |
Magazine | Spike Grenades Disorienting Grenades |
Trait One | Rimestealer Slideways |
Trait Two | Chain Reaction Chill Clip |
Origin Trait, Masterwork, Mod | Dark Ether Reaper Origin Trait Handling/Blast Radius Masterwork Aerodynamics/Tactical Mod |
Liturgy has great perks for you to chase and there's no real bad roll here. Of the options available I'm definitely going with Rimestealer and Chill Clip. The pair works great for utility, slowing larger targets and granting you Frost Armor when shattering Stasis crystals.
Slideways and Chain Reaction is a great second roll, making Liturgy a godly add-clear weapon. Alternate picks include Strategist for class energy regeneration or Perpetual Motion for more consistency when on the move.
Be sure to stay on the lookout for the Dark Ether spawned by the origin trait Dark Ether Reaper for a free reload!

PvE players aren't the only ones having fun, with Liturgy also sporting a few great rolls for the Crucible. Double Fire grenade launchers are brilliant for PvP, and a combination of Quickdraw and Harmony (with a good primary weapon) makes Liturgy a solid backup or kill finisher.
How to get Liturgy in Destiny 2
Liturgy drops from Episode: Revenant engrams and activities in Destiny 2. Notably, you'll want to run Onslaught: Revenant for the best chance at getting the weapon.
Be sure to pop a Tonic focusing on Liturgy or Revenant weapons before completing an Onslaught, as this will greatly boost your chances of landing the grenade launcher. Keep in mind you can't craft this weapon, but you can enhance it if you want to unlock upgraded perks.
