Another awesome Arc SMG has arrived in Destiny 2 in the form of the Noxious Vetiver.

As is tradition whenever Bungie releases a super-powerful weapon set, we've got to wait until mid-season to unlock it. That's definitely the case with the Noxious Vetiver, which is a standout pick among the other Dark Ether Reaper weapons and has a god roll to die for.

Here's our god roll and perk guide for Noxious Vetiver in Destiny 2.

Jolting Feedback has proven a more consistent and pound-for-pound upgrade to Voltshot and is the must-get second column perk for Noxious Vetiver. You've got a few other picks in the first column you could try for to compliment this gun.

We're leaning toward Loose Change for a reload speed boost whenever you activate Amplified or Jolt. Alternatively, Attrition Orbs is an awesome alternate pick after its buff in Episode: Revenant.

The real interest in Noxious Vetiver lies with the PvP crowd. It's been a minute since we last got a Precision Frame SMG in the Energy column, and it's arguably the most competitive SMG frame for the Crucible.

We're leaning toward Unrelenting and Target Lock for our perks. Kills with Unrelenting activate a health regeneration buff, while consistent shots on target with Target Lock boost your damage. With a manageable recoil and a solid stability barrel like Corkscrew Rifling, you'll easily land back-to-back shots to activate Target Lock.

Noxious Vetiver is part of the Tomb of Elders loot pool in Episode: Revenant. Completing waves of Tomb — or better yet, Contest — of Elders has a chance to drop this SMG.

It is definitely worth it to pop a tonic before your run as this boosts the drop rate of Noxious Vetiver. The focus tonics for the weapon are now available: complete the Act Two fieldwork and craft other Tomb of Elders tonics to unlock it.

This weapon cannot be crafted. To unlock enhanced perks, you must upgrade the weapon's level first.
