Finally, a reason to play Competitive PvP in Destiny 2 again!

Destiny 2's Competitive mode in the Crucible underwent an upgrade with Episode: Heresy, and to mark the occasion, Bungie released a new weapon for PvP fiends to hunt for: Redrix's Estoc.

This is the second Legacy PR-55 Frame pulse rifle to land in Destiny, with accurate hip fire and a short ADS scope. Dive into Competitive and pick up the Redrix's Estoc god roll, which we've detailed below!

Even though Redrix's Estoc was designed with PvP in mind, there are several decent PvE rolls if you're a fan of the archetype. The tried-and-true Stasis combo of Rimestealer and Headstone is available here for those leaning into the element.

If you're looking for a primary weapon for an ability-based build, Demolitionist and Sword Logic will serve you well. The weapon is deadly accurate by default, so focus on building for reload speed.

The Crucible is where Redrix's Estoc shines. Many still roll with the BxR-55 Battler due to its unique archetype and accuracy, but Redrix's Estoc is an improvement thanks to its perks.

Headseeker is the better perk in the second column for that enhanced headshot damage on body hit. Paired with Zen Moment, you'll have laser-like accuracy later in the magazine.

If you're happy with the weapon's accuracy already, swap out Headseeker for Desperado for that massive boost to fire rate after landing a kill and reloading.

Redrix's Estoc is the PvP Competitive exclusive weapon for Episode: Heresy. You'll need to grind out matches of Competitive Crucible to earn this pulse rifle.

It's not known whether the weapon will enter the general loot pool after the episode ends. It's highly likely it remains in the competitive pool, so jump in and begin playing the remastered competitive mode for a chance to have this dropped.

You can't craft this weapon. Once you get the roll you want, level the weapon up to unlock enhanced perks.

That's all for now! Stay tuned to esports.gg for more Destiny 2 news and guides.
