  • Savage Tackle Assist (Forward Side Tag) - Darius tags in, doing his Savage Tackle, including the armor. This move is excellent for buying space for your Point character by sending an armored Darius in to eat the first hit and counter-strike.
  • Apprehend Assist (Back Side Tag) - Darius tags in, throwing his Apprehend, his Neutral S1. This grabs opponents and pulls them in. The opposite of Savage Tackle, this can help pull enemies into your Point character's combo for unexpected mixups.

How to play Darius in 2XKO

Darius is a character who excels and taking the initiative and never letting it down. As a relatively slower character with lots of damage and plenty of armored moves, Darius likes to turn a small opening into an enormous opportunity to put on the pain.

From neutral, Darius likes to fish for opportunities with his longer-reach moves like Apprehend and Decimate. Darius' wounding mechanic gives him the unique ability to be putting down damage on blocking enemies in ways no other character quite can, so keep the pedal to the floor.

Darius is best when his opponent is on the back foot and responding to the moves Darius dictates. Given his large size and relatively slow speed, Darius needs to be careful about when he goes for his larger moves as he can be punished.

In short, play smart until you think you see an upcoming opening, then punish your opponent relentlessly.
