How to fix “Epic Games you are visiting too frequently” error

The first step is to not visit as frequerntly, but not everyone is as patient.

One of the most frustrating experiences is when you encounter the “Sorry, you are visiting our service too frequent, please try again later” while trying to log into Epic Games. This might be while you are trying to launch Fortnite or any other Epic Games title. If you want to attend a Fortnite live event, you do not want to suddenly encounter this error and miss out on the live event. Here’s how to fix the “Sorry, you are visiting our service too frequent, please try again later” error in Fortnite.

How to fix "Epic Games you are visiting too frequently" error?

This error usually happens when more than one Fortnite account is logging in from one IP. So if you have multiple accounts, it might affect you just as you are trying to log in to the game to witness a major Fortnite event.

The purpose of this error code is to prevent Fortnite from a DDOS attack. The AS–1041 code ensures there are not multiple login attempts from a single IP, which are usually the signs of an early DDOS attack.

Take a Break

The best solution is to simply take a break. We know it’s heartbreaking to not attend a Fortnite event live, but sometimes it’s better to take a break. The alternative might result in harsher punishments on your Fortnite account, which is not something you want.

Do not try to spam logins from the same computer repeatedly. You can still catch the event live on YouTube and Twitch with hundreds of streamers usually live broadcasting any Fortnite event.

Change IP or Device

You can also try to change your IP or your system. This might help you bypass the "Epic Games you are visiting too frequently" error. This might be with different internet connections or simply using a different computer or laptop.

Switch Accounts

If you really want to experience a Fortnite event in first person, the best solution would be to ask a friend for their account. Changing accounts might ensure that you are no longer flagged for spamming log-in requests. It is easier said than done as not every friend will simply hand you their Epic Games account. You may also switch to an alternate account that you own to experience the event.
