The Lin Kuei's cryomancer is part of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass as an unlockable skin. However, that's not all. He is also a non-player character (NPC) in the game. Where is Sub-Zero in Fortnite?
Sub-Zero is officially on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 island. You can find him at the Sleepwalker's Peril landmark marked in blue above, between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs. The Lin Kuei warrior roams the small hill as a non-aggressive NPC.
Upon speaking with him, you have two options. You can hire Sub-Zero to join your crew and attack enemy players, or he can educate you about the origins of the Mortal Kombat tournament.
