Use this guide to help you find the ultra-rare Earth Sprite in Fortnite!

Sprites are a new feature introduced in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. This gameplay element offers benefits, including a Water version that heals you and an Air version that launches for easy rotation. However, there is a third version, called the Earth Sprite, that is incredibly rare to find in Fortnite. This article explains how you can find it and what benefits it offers.

The discussion surrounding the new Earth Sprite is that only two spawn per match, making them difficult to locate. After entering replay mode and traversing the Chapter 6 map, we grabbed the screenshot above. Unfortunately, despite playing several Fortnite matches, we could not find this rare Earth Sprite, but that doesn't mean you can't. Your best bet is navigating to one of the various Sprite Shrines on the map.

Upon finding a Sprite Shrine and interacting with it, all nearby Sprites will appear on your screen. One of these Sprites could be the Earth version if you are lucky enough. Otherwise, you must navigate the map and get lucky, so it's all luck.

What does it do?

Fortnite content creator and Icon Series member SypherPK found the Earth Sprite and revealed its offerings. After approaching the humanoid tree, you can "trade" an item by feeding it and receive an upgraded version of a random item in return. In this case, SypherPK fed the Earth Sprite a Rare Sentinel Pump Shotgun and received a Legendary Holo Twister Assault Rifle.

The extent to which Earth Sprites regurgitate is unclear since only a few documented interactions exist. However, some players have reported receiving consumables after feeding the tree an item. As we wait for a more comprehensive list of potential spawns, we advise you not to pass on one of these stationary Sprites if you find one.
