Before heading out to collect your new Farm Friends, your first step is to build an "Animal House," a new structure added in the v29.30 patch. To build an Animal House, you must have a level two Village and the recipe will be available in your "Utility" menu. After creating an Animal House in an ideally fenced-in area, proceed to step two.

Step Two

Once you have an Animal House, you have unlocked the recipe for Animal Treats. These Animal Treats allow you to lure the animals back to their new home. Now that you have the animal's attention, you must return them to your home base to properly tame it.

Step Three

If the animal indulges, a clock will begin, and you will have a limited time to bring it to your village. You can put the animal in your vehicle or pull it with a Fishing Rod. There are multiple methods, but steer clear of any threats in the wild, as these can spook your animal and cause it to flee.

Step Four

Those who manage to return to their Village unscathed have officially tamed their first animal in LEGO Fortnite. The next and final step is to assign your Animal House. You can only assign one animal per Animal House, so build a few if you want multiple Farm Friends. Also, don't forget to feed and give them attention to keep them happy.
