Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite’s new Nitro Drift, including where to find it and more.

The Nitro Drift is Fortnite's newest mode of transportation. Upon the release of Chapter 4 Season 2, Epic Games shook up vehicle transportation slightly. Fortnite welcomed the Rogue Bike and four-seated Nitro Drifter car to the family.

Today, we are highlighting the Nitro Drifter to explain everything you need to know about this new vehicle, including how it works and where to find it.

What is the Nitro Drifter?

This new car is something out of Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, which echoes Chapter 4 Season 2's "Neo Tokyo" theme. The Fortnite Nitro Drift is a four-seater vehicle that works best on paved roads. The Nitro Drifter's standout function is its ability to drift, which you can perform using L1 on a controller or Left Shift on a keyboard.

You receive a speed boost after drifting, so it's worth remembering while driving across the landscape. Now that we've covered the Nitro Drifter let's see where you can find them.

Nitro Drifters spawn primarily in the southern and southeastern quadrants of the current Fortnite map, as you can see in the image above per Fortnite.GG. You'll want to search for the vehicle in the areas surrounding Mega City, Steamy Springs, and Slappy Shores.

How to destroy objects while drifting or boosting in a Nitro Drifter

A new Fortnite Quest emerged this week, tasking players with destroying objects while drifting or boosting in a Nitro Drifter. This challenge is relatively straightforward. Firstly, you'll need to locate a Nitro Drifter, which you can do using the map above.

Then, merely drive around the map while drifting and knocking into fences, trees, bushes, and other small objects. After destroying 25 things, you'll complete the Quest and receive 12K XP.
