A recent rumor has hit the internet stating that Mechagodzilla will officially be coming to Fortnite.

We already know the great Kaiju, Godzilla, is making its way into Fortnite. The popular Japanese-themed season has been all the craze lately, but what if we told you there is a rumor that Mechagodzilla is coming to the game?

Well, rumor has it, that the massive robot Kaiju is heading to the Battle Royale. Here is everything we know.

Leakers release first look at Mechagodzilla Back Bling in Fortnite

As of now, we do not have exact proof that Mechagodzilla is coming to Fortnite, but we do know there is a Mecha Back Bling that fits onto the upcoming Godzilla skin.

Twitter leaker, Blortzen, posted a leak that showed the Mech Back Bling earlier today, which was found directly in the game's files. The new cosmetic is a massive piece of metal armor that fits perfectly onto the back of Godzilla.

So, why are leakers posting that this means Mechagodzilla could come to the game?

Why do leakers believe Mechagodzilla is coming to Fortnite?

The main reason leakers believe this Back Bling is proof that Mechagodzilla is coming to Fortnite is the fact that the files say the popular Kaiju will be having two forms.

Many believe that the Mecha Back Bling will go hand-in-hand with Mechagodzilla skin, and can be worn on a regular Godzilla skin to show its transforming.

The problem with this belief, though? Mechagodzilla is not a different form of Godzilla, but instead, it is an alien robot sent to fight Godzilla. Thinking that it would just be the Kaiju's other form would not make too much sense.

However, there is always the possibility that Mechagodzilla gets its own skin. Only time will tell, however.
