Can you play Oblivion Remastered with your subscription?

Oblivion Remastered is real after all, and it's coming sooner than you might think. Thanks to some leaks and an apparent mishap by a developer, we know that the remaster of the fourth Elder Scrolls game is coming later this month in April. However, before you get too excited about strolling through the streets of Cyrodiil again, you need to know what platforms the game is available on. Moreover, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are curious if Oblivion Remastered is coming to the service on day one or not.

If Oblivion Remastered is on Game Pass from the start, subscribers don't have to worry about purchasing it. Of course, if the game doesn't arrive on the subscription service on day one, then fans have to make other arrangements.

Is Oblivion Remastered on Game Pass?

Luckily for Game Pass subscribers, all of the current leaks indicate that Oblivion Remastered is coming to the service as a day one launch title. We don't know the exact release date yet, as Bethesda is being extremely tight-lipped about the game, but the rumor right now is it's dropping during the week of April 21.

It's unclear how the preload will work for Oblivion Remastered, as leaks state that Bethesda is planning to shadowdrop the game on a random day. This means that Game Pass players likely won't be able to install the game early, but we're not sure of anything just yet.

All we know is that it seems highly probable Oblivion Remastered will be available on Xbox's subscription service on the day it launches. Of course, Bethesda or Microsoft haven't confirmed that yet, so still take the information with a tiny pinch of salt.

All platforms for Oblivion Remastered

If you're not a Game Pass subscriber, then you'll want to know the other platforms that Oblivion Remastered is coming to whenever it launches.

Fortunately, leaks say that Oblivion Remastered will be arriving on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (likely via Steam, but not confirmed). It's a huge surprise to see that Oblivion Remastered is coming to PS5, as Microsoft owns Bethesda, and it was originally thought that the game would only be coming to PC and Xbox. However, Microsoft is apparently allowing PlayStation fans to experience the 20-year-old game again, which is a terrific sight to see.

We'll have to wait to officially confirm Oblivion Remastered's platforms whenever Bethesda makes its announcement. With the game supposedly coming in a week's time, that announcement should be coming any day. For more on Oblivion Remastered, make sure to check out our guide on the Deluxe Edition for the game.
