Rankdle lets you pick from a variety of games and choose what rank in that game you believe the clip originates from.
Are you a fan of the popular word-guessing game Wordle? And do you enjoy jumping into the ranked queue of your favorite video game? Then Rankdle is right up your alley. It combines the two for a rank-guessing test where you have to decide which rank the clip in front of you comes from in a specific game.
Rankdle is a Wordle clone for competitive gaming
There have been countless Wordle clones since its rise to superstardom. Rankdle is yet another, but geared towards gamers. There's no word problems in this one, though. Instead, you're shown a clip from the game you choose and get your points by picking the right rank the clip takes place in.
Here are all of the games available in Rankdle currently:
- League of Legends
- Chess
- VALORANT
- Apex Legends
- Rocket League
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Overwatch 2
The game states that a Rankdle section for Rainbow Six Siege is coming soon, so stay tuned for that. Otherwise, you have a wide variety of competitive titles to select and show off your knowledge of ranked gameplay.
How to play
Playing Rankdle is very simple. Follow these steps to start testing your know-how:
- Head over to the official Rankdle website
- Select your game of choice
- Watch the embedded clip and guess the rank it was in once complete
- Earn Stars depending on how close your guess is to the true rank
There are three new clips every day for each game. You can see the timer at the top of the game selection portion to let you know when the next set of clips goes live. If you are one rank off, you get a single star, but the hope is for two stars by guessing it right on the nose.
How to submit your own clips
On the Rankdle site, you'll see a Submit button at the top right. Choose the game your clip is from and the rules for submission will appear. Make sure it is from a Ranked Competitive match in the game and that it is uploaded to a site like YouTube, Twitch, or Medal.
After you add your clip link, player info, and the rank the clip occurred in, you can agree to their terms and submit. Return often to Rankdle to see if your clip was chosen as one of the daily clips and to keep guessing the rank from all of the available games.
