Chasca Kit
In Genshin Impact, Chasca is a 5-star Anemo Bow character. She is the second in this archetype after Venti. She is also one of three Anemo Bow characters, with the third one being the 4-star character Faruzan.
Her first appearance was the Natlan "Ignition Teaser" and has been involved in the Natlan Archon Quest since version 5.0.
Note that the details of Chasca's kit, constellations, and talents below did not come from official Genshin Impact or HoYoverse sources, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Chasca Combat Skills
Chasca's gameplay revolves around dealing damage while she's in her Nightsoul state, similar to other Natlan characters. Like the recently released Xilonen, she also has mechanics that involve the Element of the other characters in the party.
Normal Attack: Phantom Feather Flurry
Chasca's normal attack is the usual for Bow wielders.
Elemental Skill: Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt
Chasca deals AoE Anemo DMG and enters Nightsoul's Blessing state.
This skill has Tap and Hold version.
Multitarget Fire
- Tap
- Deal Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG (considered as Normal Attack DMG) to enemies in front.
- Hold
- Enter Aiming Mode and fire up to 6 Shadowhunt Shells at targeted enemies. Holding for longer equates to more targeted enemies and loaded Shells.
Shadowhunt Shells
- Shells #1-3 deal Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG, considered as Charged Attack DMG.
- Shells #4-6 change for each of the other Elements in the party. Dendro and Geo are not counted.
- Shells follow last in, first out firing order. The Element-changed Shells will fire first.
Elemental Burst: Soul Reaper's Fatal Round
Fire a Galesplitting Soulseeker Shell that deals AoE Anemo DMG. This then splits into six Soulseeker Shells.
- Having a Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro character in the party will change the elements of the Shells into their respective Element. One character changes the element of two Shells each.

Night Realm's Gift: Everburning Heart
This is her Nightsoul Passive. Additionally, it has a unique interaction with her Elemental Skill
- Holding the Elemental Skill while in the Nightsoul's Blessing state will cause a Nightsoul-aligned Plunging Attack. When released, this Plunging Attack will be canceled. If she hits the ground, the Nightsoul's Blessing state will end.
Bullet Trick
Having 1/2/3 Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro characters gives a 33%/67%/100% for the 3rd Shadowhunt Shell to turn into the respective Element.
Intent to Cover
Chasca will fire one Shadowhunt Shot that deals when a nearby party member triggers Nightsoul Burst. By default, this is Anemo, but can convert to Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro, depending on the party members.
Chasca Constellations
Most of Chasca's Constellations work toward strengthening her Shadowhunt Shells and Elemental Skill.
- Cylinder, the Restless Roulette - Bullet Trick's chance to change the Shell's Element is now 67%/100%/100% for 1/2/3 characters of the same Element. Also, she consumes 30% less Nightsoul and Phlogiston while out of combat.
- Muzzle, the Searing Smoke - The Shells with a changed Element will now deal AoE Elemental DMG. This happens once per cast.
- Reins, her Careful Control - Increase level and level cap of Elemental Skill.
- Sparks, the Sudden Shot - Elemental Burst will now restore Energy and deal AoE damage of whatever Element it splits into.
- Brim, the Sandshadow's Silhouette - Increase level and level cap of Elemental Burst.
- Showdown, the Glory of Battle - When Bullet Trick activates, the next Elemental Skill will charge instantly and deal more damage.
Another reminder that Chasca's kit, skills, constellations, talents, and other details above are all subject to changes until she goes live.
She becomes playable in the Genshin Impact Version 5.2 update as a limited 5-star character. The update is expected to arrive on November 20, 2024.
