The combat in Genshin Impact relies strongly on triggering elemental reactions to deal great damage to enemies. There are several reactions you can trigger with the Dendro element including Bloom, Hyperbloom, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Burning, and Burgeon.

  • Dendro + Hydro = Bloom
  • Dendro Core + Electro = Hyperbloom
  • Dendro Core + Pyro = Burgeon
  • Dendro + Electro = Quicken
  • Quicken + Electro = Aggravate
  • Quicken + Dendro = Spread
  • Dendro + Pyro = Burning

Bloom: If you attack your opponents with Hydro, while they are affected by Dendro, you will generate some Dendro cores on the field, these will explode after a while triggering a Bloom reaction. You can add Nilou, Kokomi and Furina to the team if you want to deal more Bloom damage.

Hyperbloom: Once you have generated some Dendro Cores, you can attack them with Electro to trigger Hyperbloom reaction. The core will hit a nearby enemy with Hyperbloom damage. Beidou, Razor and Keqing are some notable Electro characters, you can use for these.

Burgeon: Similar to Hyperbloom, you just need to attack the Dendro Core with Pyro damage, this will cause Burgeon reaction, which cause the core to explode covering greater distance than bloom. To trigger Burgeon, you can use Yanfei, Diluc, or Klee.

Quicken: To trigger Quicken, you need to combine the Electro and Dendro elements together. Quicken does not damage the enemy you are battling, but it sets the stage for further Dendro reactions. You can use your Electro support characters to trigger it, such as Raiden Shogun or Yae Miko who can apply Electro continuously.

Aggravate: If you attack any opponent who is affected by Quicken with Electro damage, you can trigger Aggravate, this will buff up the damage of your Electro character, so you can use it to deal massive damage with your Electro DPS including Cyno, Fischl, and Raiden Shogun.

Spread: You can also choose to follow-up the Quicken reaction with Spread by attacking the enemy with Dendro. This reaction works particularly well with your Dendro DPS characters including Alhaitham, Kinich, and Kaveh

Burning: Burning is triggered by using Pyro damage on enemies affected by Dendro. It inflicts continuous pyro damage to an enemy till it subsides. You can use Burning with Pyro characters like Xiangling, Hu Tao and Chevreuse.
