Xilonen can climb walls indefinitely while in her Nightsoul State!
Xilonen is one of the newest characters, first seen in the Natlan Teaser in Genshin Impact. Here is what we know so far about Xilonen’s kit, skills, Talents, Constellations, and more.

Xilonen Kit
In Genshin Impact, Xilonen is a 5-star Geo Sword character. She is the third of this archetype, following Albedo and Chiori. Like Kachina, she scales off of DEF. Unlike Kachina, however, she serves more as an off-field support or sub-DPS. Her first appearance was the Natlan "Ignition Teaser" and has been mentioned in version 5.0, but she is yet to appear even as an NPC.
Note that the details of Xilonen’s kit, constellations, and talents below did not come from official Genshin Impact or HoYoverse sources, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Xilonen Combat Skills
Xilonen’s gameplay revolves around her Elemental Skill. As with the rest of the Natlan cast, her Skill has the Nightsoul mechanic.
Normal Attack: Ehecatl’s Roar
Xilonen attacks with her sword a few times, standard for Sword users.
Her Plunging Attack is also the standard, however the damage scales off of DEF instead of her ATK. Her Charged Attack is unique: instead of attacking with her sword, she does a kick while moving backward.
When Xilonen is in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state, Xilonen’s attacks will instead deal Geo DMG based on her DEF. This infusion cannot be overridden, and she cannot perform Charged Attacks while in this state.
Elemental Skill: Yohual's Scratch
Using Xilonen’s Elemental Skill will make her enter Blade Roller mode and rush forward before dealing Nightsoul-aligned Geo DMG. She will then gain Nightsoul Points and enter the Nightshoul’s Blessing State.
While in this state, Xilonen will receive three Samplers, lowering nearby enemies' Elemental RES. These Samplers lower the Geo RES of nearby enemies by default. However, the Source Samples inside of the Samplers can change elements based on the party members, changing the Elemental RES they lower.
While in the Nightsoul’s Blessing State, Xilonen’s movement SPD and climbing speed will increase. Additionally, she can enter Ocelot Form and do fast leaps while climbing. Xilonen’s Nightsoul’s Blessing state will immediately end after 9 seconds.
Elemental Burst: Ocelotlicue Point!
Xilonen deals AoE Geo DMG based on her DEF to nearby enemies. Additional effects will activate based on Xilonen’s Samplers
- If at least 2 Source Samples changed elements, Xilonen will heal nearby active characters based on her DEF.
- If less than 2 Source Samples changed elements, Xilonen’s Burst will deal damage two additional times.

Night Realm's Gift: Blessing of Forge-Fire
This passive talent has multiple aspects:
- Xilonen will start consuming Phlogiston after her Nightsoul points are depleted to stay in her Nightsoul's Blessing form.
- She will gain 20 Nightsoul points and enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state when switching to her from a character who is sprinting, swimming, or in a "movement mode" from certain Talents. This will last for 4 seconds. Using her Elemental Skill will extend the duration by 9 seconds.
- She will not consume Stamina while climbing in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state in Natlan.
Netotiliztli's Echoes
While in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, her Normal and Plunging attacks will be empowered based on her Source Samples:
- If she has at least 2 source Samples that changed elements, she will gain 25 Nightsoul points when hitting enemies. This can be triggered every 0.1 seconds.
- If less than 2 Source Samples changed elements, she will deal more DMG for a set amount of time.
Portable Armored Sheath
If Xilonen’s Nightsoul Points reach the maximum amount while in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, she will activate an effect similar to her Nightsoul Burst. Additionally, her DEF will increase when her party members activate a Nightsoul Burst.
Xilonen Constellations
Xilonen’s Constellations all work toward strengthening her Elemental Skill.
- Sabbatical Phrase - Xilonen’s Nightsoul points and Phlogiston consumption is decreased, and her Nightsoul points time limit is increased. Her Source Samples will also increase the interruption resistance of nearby active characters when active.
- Chiucue Mix - All nearby party members will receive buffs if they match the element of one of the active Source Samples:
- Geo: CRIT Rate%
- Pyro: ATK%
- Hydro: HP%
- Cryo: CRIT DMG%
- Electro: Energy and reduced Elemental Burst CD
- Tonalpohualli's Loop - Increase level and level cap of Elemental Skill.
- Suchitl's Trance - Using her Elemental Skill will provide party members with the Blooming Blessing buff. This buff increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging ATK based on Xilonen’s DEF.
- Tlaltecuhtli's Crossfade - Increase level and level cap of Elemental Burst.
- Imperishable Night Carnival - Xilonen will gain the Imperishable Night’s Blessing buff whenever she sprints, jumps, or uses her Normal or Plunging Attack while in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state. This buff will increase the DMG her Normal and Plunging attacks do, while also pausing the time limit and consumption of her Nightsoul’s Blessing state as long as the buff is active.

She becomes playable in the Genshin Impact Version 5.1 update as a limited 5-star character. The update is expected to arrive on October 9, 2024.
