Here are all the ways you can deal damage to destroy your enemy’s base in Highguard to ultimately grab that victory.
In Highguard, the Shieldbreaker isn't the only way to deal damage and take down the opponent's base. Here are all of the ways you can destroy the enemy base in Highguard.
Dealing damage and destroying the enemy base in Highguard
The information below came from esports.gg's experience in an invite-only playtest that was conducted shortly ahead of Highguard's release.
First, both your and the enemy team's base start with 100 Health. Lost health cannot be regained, and the game ends when either base reaches 0 health.
You will get the chance to deal damage to the enemy's base during two phases: Intercept and Raid.
Intercept

The Shieldbreaker spawns during the intercept phase. If your squad is successful in bringing it to the enemy team's base, then you will deal 30 damage and will get to be on the offensive in the Raid phase.

Conversely, you need to prevent the enemy team from taking the Shieldbreaker to your base. Only one Shieldbreaker can be on the map at any given point, so you only have to keep track of one objective.

If neither team is successful in bringing the Shieldbreaker to the enemy base, Overtime ensues. Overtime is extra time with the Shieldbreaker in play, but a Team Wipe during this will also deal 30 damage to the base.

Raid
In the Raid phase, one team is Attacking while the other is Defending. The Attacking team must use their Wardens' abilities, Siege Weapons, and Bombs to destroy the defenders' Generators and Anchor Stone.

This plays like your usual tactical shooter — you must plant bombs onto these objectives as the attacker and prevent a defuse, while the defenders look to prevent the plant or defuse the bomb.

Destroying a Generator deals 35 damage, and blowing up the enemy's Anchor Stone means an instant victory. Generators do not respawn and can only be blown up once.
In the case of a Perfect Defense, where the Attackers run out of lives, and no bombs are exploded, 35 damage is dealt to the Attackers' base.
The esports.gg team was able to capture exclusive images and data from the playtests, too. This includes the various currencies available within the game and how Warchests work.
