The Honkai: Star Rail Equilibrium is your world level. The higher the equilibrium the tougher the enemies and the better the rewards.
What is the Equilibrium level in Honkai: Star Rail?
The Honkai: Star Rail Equilibrium level is your world level. It affects how difficult or tough your enemies are, and also affects the rarity and power of their drops. Your equilibrium level will also determine how far you can level up your characters, Relics, and Light Cones. It's kind of a big deal.
How to increase your Honkai Star Rail Equilibrium level?
You can increase your Honkai: Star Rail equilibrium level by completing Trial of the Equilibrium Rift. In order to be eligible to attempt the trial you must first reach a certain Trailblazer Level.
If you complete the trial you will unlock the next Equilibrium Level, this will increase the rarity of drops but it also increases the difficulty and power of enemies.
Here are the Honkai: Star Rail Equilibrium levels and their Trailblazer level requirement:
Equilibrium Level | Requirement |
---|---|
Equilibrium Level 1 | Trailblazer Level 20 |
Equilibrium Level 2 | Trailblazer Level 30 |
Equilibrium Level 3 | Trailblazer Level 40 |
Equilibrium Level 4 | Trailblazer Level 50 |
Equilibrium Level 5 | Trailblazer Level 60 |
Equilibrium Level 6 | Trailblazer Level 65 |
Once you reach the required Trailblazer level, a new Trial of the Equilibrium Rift quest will appear. What's in the trial you might ask? Powerful monsters meant to test your skills and decide whether you deserve to ascend to a higher Equilibrium level.
How to get Equilibrium Level 1
How to get Equilibrium Level 1: You will unlock the first Trial of the Equilibrium after reaching Trailblazer level 20, which you should hit around the time of the main quest of Rail to Rot. Once you reach level 20, you will hear an ominous voice inviting you to compete in the trial! You will later learn this is the voice of a creature known as the "Arbitrator".
Step-by-step How to get Equilibrium Level 1
- Reach Trailblaze Level 20
- Navigate to the new Trial of the Equilibrium: Part One mission
- Complete the trial by killing the two elite bosses
To start the first trial simply enter the Mission Menu and you will see a new mission option set in the Robot Settlement of Jarilo-VI.
"A creature calling himself the Abritrator gave you a trial. According to its vague but convinced declaration, you will meet stronger foes but receive better rewards in the future by passing the trial. This doesn't seem to be a bad thing?"
Make sure to heal all your characters at a Space Anchor and have a look at the two elite enemies you'll be going up against below, a Searing Prowler and Ice Out of Space. Both enemies are weak to opposite elements, so bear that in mind when you pick who you're bringing with you!
Beat the Trial 1
- The two elite enemies in Equilibrium Trial 1 are not weak to Physical so leave Trailblazer out
- Make use of pre-battle consumables such as Simple Protective Gear (increased DEF by 25%) or Bottled Soda (10% + 210 extra HP). You can make them via Synthesizing.
- Check that your party has over 700 HP each.
- If not Upgrade Relics or level up your character for an HP boost.
- Balance the elements in your party to match enemy weakness (more below!)
