How to start a relationship in inZOI: dating, marriage, and more

Love is in the air! For inZOI, lovebirds establishing relationships is a very important step in a character's life. Family, friends, boyfriends/girlfriends, and work colleagues— all kinds of relationships are crucial to making your life better. Let's explore all types of relationships in inZOI and how you can start one.

There are four types of relationships in inZOI: Family, Love, Friendship, and business. You can check out all of your relationships on the bottom right option with two little humans. There, you can see the levels of all your acquaintances.

The relationship types can coexist since Zois can have complex interactions with others. For example, you can have a business colleague but have a low friendship level with him.

The family relationship begins immediately after marriage, evolving from love into a family dynamic that includes children, siblings, and other relatives. If you're unhappy, you can also have a divorce.

Love relationships start between Zois regardless of their relationship status - which means things like cheating can happen. You'll only know other Zois' statuses while talking with them. When you reach the true love level, options like "engagement" and "marriage" will be available.

In business relationships, you can either have a rival or a good colleague. It's important to notice that newborns and children are incapable of establishing business relationships.

You can establish friendship relationships with practically all other Zois in your city. It will be represented by the blue color. Remember your Zoi can only establish 100 relationships so far. So far, there is no information available about removing relationships in inZOI.

Just like in real life, you need to talk with people and interact with them. You can tailor your dialogue to align with your goals in that relationship. If you're seeking a romantic relationship, consider choosing romantic conversation options to increase your love level. Reading self-help books or having high confidence will help enhance your charm skills quickly. If the other Zoi isn't interested in you, or if their romantic orientation doesn't match yours, they will let you know right away. Don’t be too hasty, as it’s important to create a romantic spark before asking someone on a date, or they’ll likely say no.

When you choose the Zoi you want to start a relationship with, start talking to them and level up your romance. Ask to go on dates, kiss, plan things together, and many more options. To avoid rejection, be sure you build your relationship to a high level before advancing to the next stage: marriage.

When you find the love of your life, the next step is Marriage. In inZOI, you can ask your lovebird to marry you. If they accept it, you can start planning the wedding and even schedule it.

In the next phase, you'll get the chance to prepare for the wedding, choose your guests, and decide what activities they are allowed or not allowed to do. After everything is arranged you'll need to choose if you want to live with your part in your house or theirs. You can keep all their assets as well.

At your wedding, you can interact with other Zois and, of course, enjoy the moment with your loved one, dance, throw your bouquet, listen to music, and much more.

Once you've reached the Sweetheart level in your relationship, you and your partner can engage in sexual relationships. To initiate this, select the option "Set the Mood Next to Bed." However, keep in mind that your partner can decline if they aren't interested, even if you are in a relationship. You can still discuss other family matters, such as having a baby.

And because not every marriage works out, you can ask for a divorce. In the talk options, select "Conflict" and then "Divorce". When it happens, you'll see a pop-up window wishing you both the best of luck for your future.
