Who will represent LoL’s rising region at MSI and EWC?
The LCP broke new ground at LoL First Strike earlier this year but now comes the hard part: backing it up at the next big tournament, the Mid-Season Invitational in Canada. To do that, we'll need to determine who will suit up for the LCP via the Mid-Season Split 2.
CFO Flying Oysters shocked the world at First Stand, but now we've reset the standings with two spots up for grabs for LCP teams to rep the region in Vancouver. There's more at stake, however; the top two also head straight to Saudi Arabia after MSI for the Esports World Cup.

LCP Split 2 2025 format and teams
LCP Split 2 2025 acts as the "mid-season" for LCP. The eight teams, returning from LCP Split 1, will play out a multi-week round-robin first stage.
The top two from the split will receive direct spots in the second round of the double-elimination playoff stage. Third to sixth will begin the playoffs in the first round, where the losers will join seventh and eighth in elimination.
Then, the remaining teams will play out the bracket until two teams are left standing. Both squads will head to MSI and EWC, with the LCP Split 2 champion walking away with the higher seed in the two tournaments.

The playoffs matches of LCP Mid-Season 2025 started on May 30. The key battles here are the upper-bracket and lower-bracket finals: the winners earn qualification spots at the MSI 2025 and LoL Esports World Cup 2025.

The winners of the LCP upper-bracket final certainly advance to the LoL EWC 2025 and MSI 2025 qualification zone. CTBC Flying Oyster were strong favorites, but TALON managed to win two games in a row. Only an amazing reverse sweep helped CFO claim this victory.

- 5:30pm: GAM 3:1 Secret Whales (lower round 3)
GAM Esports were first to reach match point. One game from Team Secret Waves did not help them stop the progression of the Vietnamese legends. The second qualification spot for LCP is decided in the lower final between TALON and GAM.
Saturday, June 7
- 5:30pm: TALON 1:3 GAM (lower final)
GAM Esports demonstrated phenomenal League of Legends in this match! Their final game vs TALON was unbelievably close, though. Anyone could win it, but with one great fight around the Elder Dragon GAM denied game 5 and qualified for MSI 2025 and LoL EWC 2025.

After long and close match, CTBC Flying Oyster defeated GAM Esports. They are Champions of LCP Midseason 2025.
