Skins

As the LoL Worlds 2025 event takes place in China, the brand-new pass enters the game. In addition, it features the highly anticipated Beeko skin, Mecha Kingdoms Skarner, and Prestige Eternal Aspect Zoe. Furthermore, you can check out all the Worlds 2025 pass rewards in our complete guide for more details.

Genesis Nightbringer Yasuo is finally entering the Sanctum for the first time! In addition, this skin will follow the current Mythic Variant Sanctum format, which includes a maximum of 40 pulls. Moreover, the Mythic Variant Emote will be available as an A-Tier drop, making this release even more exciting for collectors.

However, no additional skins will be available for purchase just yet. If you’re hoping for a new look for your main, you’ll have to wait a little longer! Panda Pal Lux and some other champion additions to the Mecha Kingdoms universe are coming in the next patch. You can already check them out here.

Champions updates

Starting with the buffs, we have some interesting moves from Riot Games' behalf. Yunara is getting buffed, even though she was released as a very strong ADC. So, why is Riot buffing her? According to Riot, Yunara "is weaker than the average bot laner." To provide you with some data, Yunara has a 70% win rate at the LoL Worlds event. She won seven matches and lost three.

Above Emerald, however, Yunara's win rate goes down to 47.64%, which marks a significant difference between both contexts. Because of that, Riot is buffying Yunara to put here on the same space as other strong ADC of the current meta like Caitlyn or Kai'Sa.

Buffs

Nerfs

As for the nerfs, Qiyana’s was definitely the most surprising. After recently buffing her and bringing her back into the meta following months of absence, Riot Games has now taken a step back and nerfed her again. According to RiotPhroxzon, she is "too strong in the jungle," with the focus being on the "repeated farming speed."

Adjustments

In the LoL patch 25.21 notes, several champions received adjustments, some of them new to this category. The only exception, of course, is Gwen, who has been continuously adjusted over the past few weeks. Dr. Mundo joins this category for being a "scaling juggernaut," while Graves does not have a "strong sustained fight pattern."

LoL patch notes 25.21: Item changes

This patch also includes changes to the Doran’s items. Most of the item adjustments focus on the “Doran’s” line. Those are the items for champions who rely on AP, AD, or bonus health.
