Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop rerun now live: All challenges and rewards

Overwatch 2 Season 18 is now live, and in addition to the Play Like Luka event, the game is currently running its second Cowboy Bebop one. Read on for all of the latest Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop event challenges and rewards!

Between Aug. 26 and Sept. 9, Overwatch 2 players can complete matches and earn progress toward the Cowboy Bebop challenges.

Based on our past and present screenshots, all of the current challenges are almost repeats of the inaugural event from March 2024. That is, the major difference is the addition of Stadium matches, which grant double the progress. Just like last year, the 2025 event features 14 challenges in total. Rewards to note include the Ein Wrecking Ball skin, name card, player icon, and weapon charm. Players can also earn lots of Overwatch 2 Season 18 Battle XP. Our screenshots in the gallery below indicate all of the latest Cowboy Bebop challenges and rewards.

As noted, perhaps the most interesting reward is the free Cowboy Bebop Wrecking Ball skin. Players can earn this one by completing 11 Cowboy Bebop event challenges in total. This legendary reward also comes with 2,500 Battle Pass XP for Season 18. After unlocking this Ein Wrecking Ball skin, players can simply visit the hero gallery and equip it.

In terms of the other Cowboy Bebop skins, players can visit the in-game shop to purchase them if they missed out on them last year. In addition to Wrecking Ball, this line of cosmetics includes Ed Sombra, Faye Valentine Ashe, Jet Black Mauga, and Spike Spiegel Cassidy.
