Everything you need to know to take on Heatran in Pokémon GO.
Heatran is back in Pokémon GO raids for the first time in ages, and will be appearing in Five-Star Raids from March 22 until March 31.
Heatran is a very good Pokémon in Pokémon GO, especially with its exclusive move, Magma Storm. Sadly this move won't come with Heatran this time, but you can still teach it with an Elite Charged TM. These Raids are also an excellent chance to grind candy for your Shadow Heatran, if you are looking to power that up.
So, here is everything you need to know to take on Heatran in Pokémon GO.
Best Heatran counters in Pokémon GO:
Heatran has a double weakness to Ground-type attacks, and then also has a weakness to Fighting and Water-type attacks. It has a huge number of resistances, including a double resistance to Fairy-type attacks.
Here are the best counters to use when taking on Heatran in Pokémon GO.

With the double weakness that Heatran has, even weaker Ground-type Pokémon will have a easy time taking down Heatran. It could be a rare appearance for Pokémon like Krookodile, if you have one sat in your storage somewhere.
A lot of these Pokémon are readily avaliable in Pokémon GO or have appeared recently. Mega Garchomp was just in Raids, and it wasn't that long since Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre appeared during the GO Wild Area event.
In addition, both forms of Landorus were avaliable during the recent Pokémon GO Unova Tour and are both excellent options for this Heatran Raid too.
