Here is how to get 10 KM Eggs in Pokémon GO.

Eggs in Pokémon GO are one of the most lucrative, but also most expensive, ways to grind in Pokémon GO. 10 km Eggs are amongst the best Eggs to get your hands on, only beaten by the rare 12 km Eggs that you can get when defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader.

Sometimes events put special Pokémon in certain Eggs, and this can include 10 km Eggs. That leaves Trainers keen to get their hands on the Eggs, but how can you do that? Here is everything you need to know about 10 km Eggs in Pokémon GO.

How to get 10 km Eggs in Pokémon GO

Getting 10 km Eggs is pretty simple in Pokémon GO. Unlike 7 km Eggs, which need you to open Gifts, or 12 km Eggs, which require beating a Team GO Rocket Leader you can get 10 km Eggs by simply spinning PokéStops.

However, there is an element of randomness here. When you spin a PokéStop or Gym Photo Disc you can get any of three Eggs. 2 km, 5 km and 10 km. Unfortunately, 10 km Eggs are the rarest of the three. You will also need to make sure you have a spare Egg slot. The bottom three slots, the bonus storage, cannot take Eggs from PokéStops or Gyms.

Now, if you are reading this guide during the Into the Wild event in Pokémon GO, you are probably chasing the newly released Pokémon Toxel. This Pokémon has debuted solely in 10 km Eggs. If this is the case, you can "greatly" increase your chances of getting 10 km Eggs from PokéStops with the paid Into the Wild: Hatch ticket. This costs $4.99 (or equivalent local currency).

There are also 10 km Eggs avaliable as a reward each Monday for the distance you have walked that week. These can go into your bonus storage, but are different from standard 10 km Eggs in the game. These have a different hatch pool, and won't include any special bonus/event Pokémon that you might see in the 10 km Eggs you can get from spinning

There are also 10 km Eggs avaliable as a reward each Monday for the distance you have walked that week. These can go into your bonus storage, but are different from standard 10 km Eggs in the game. You will need to walk at least 50 km to get a 10 km Egg from Adventure Sync.

These have a different hatch pool, and won't include any special bonus/event Pokémon that you might see in the 10 km Eggs you can get from spinning PokéStops and Gyms.
