How do you get Lunar and Solar Fusion Energy in Pokémon GO?

Pokémon GO's Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will bring a second chance to get both of the two Fusion forms of Necrozma. To Fuse Necrozma with either Solgaleo or Lunala in Pokémon GO you will need either 1000 Solar Fusion Energy or 1000 Lunar Fusion Energy. In addition, you'll need 30 Cosmog Candy and 30 Necrozma Candy.

This is a new resource in Pokémon GO, so unless you played GO Fest Madrid, Sendai, New York or Global in 2024 you will need to gather Fusion Energy before you can obtain these two powerful Pokémon on Saturday. You will get about 80 Fusion Energy per Raid, with the exact amount depending on how fast you complete the Raid.

There is currently just one way to get Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy in Pokémon GO:

During Pokémon GO Fest 2024, Trainers could also get Fusion Energy through four free Pokémon GO Promo codes that Niantic released. There does not appear to be any such Promo Codes planned for the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day this Saturday.

Additionally, there was a Research during Pokémon GO Fest with two paths to choose between, once again with this just being a Raid Day and not a major Global event there won't be anything like this avaliable either. The Raid Day ticket does not include any Fusion Energy.

Both of these Pokémon are very powerful and you ideally want both of them in your collection. So, make sure you find the time to take on both Dawn Wings Necrozma and Dusk Mane Necrozma in Raids during the Raid Day.

Then, take on Dawn Wings Necrozma and Dusk Mane Necrozma in Raids. Beating these Pokémon GO Raids will grant you Fusion Energy, the same way Mega Energy works.

With three hours and Raids on every Gym, you should be able to get both Necrozma Fusion forms in Pokémon GO this weekend.
