Looking for Roar of Time? Here’s how to get this move in Pokémon GO.

Origin Forme Dialga is back in Pokémon GO, and so is its Signature Move Roar of Time. This is a must-have move for PvP and Raids, but also has an Adventure Effect. This gives Origin Forme Dialga a special ability in the game.

Here is everything you need to know about Roar of Time, including how to get your hands on Origin Fome Dialga with it's signature move.

How to get an Origin Forme Dialga with Roar of Time

Unfortunately, Roar of Time is not treated like a most moves in Pokémon GO. It cannot be acquired with a Charged TM, or Elite Charged TM (at the moment). That means any Origin Forme Dialga you have without the move, either from Sinnoh Tour or Into the Wild and GO Wild Area cannot learn Roar of Time.

In order to get an Origin Forme Dialga with Roar of Time in Pokémon GO, you will need the odds to be in your favour. There is a random chance every time you encounter an Origin Forme Dialga that it can know Roar of Time. The odds for this seem to in the region of between 1 in 10 and 1 in 20. Niantic haven't shared the odds on getting the move.

You'll also need to make sure you take on Origin Forme Dialga in Raid's sooner rather than later. This Steel and Dragon-type is in Raids until November 27. However, only Origin Forme Dialga's caught in Pokémon GO before 11:59 PM local time on November 24 have a chance to know Roar of Time. All Trainers, regardless if they have purchased any event tickets, have the same chance to get the move.

This can make getting a good IV Origin Forme Dialga with Roar of Time difficult. You'll likely need to take on a lot of Raids this week.

Trading for Roar of Time

If you aren't lucky enough to get Roar of Time after a Raid you can also trade someone for an Origin Forme Dialga with the move. Roar of Time does not disappear when traded. This would also allow you to lucky trade Dialga that have the move, if you are looking for better IVs.
