How to get Spacial Rend in Pokémon GO

Origin Forme Palkia is back in Pokémon GO, and so is its Signature Move Spacial Rend. Not only is this a very powerful move in PvP and Raids, but it is also has an Adventure Effect. This gives Origin Forme Palkia a special ability in the game.

Here is everything you need to know about Spacial Rend, including how to get your hands on Origin Fome Palkia with this powerful move.

Unfortunately, Spacial Rend is not treated like a standard move in Pokémon GO. It cannot be acquired by Charged TM, or Elite Charged TM (at the moment). That means any Origin Forme Palkia you have without the move, either from Sinnoh Tour or Into the Wild and GO Wild Area cannot learn Spacial Rend.

In order to get Spacial Rend in Pokémon GO, you need to get a little bit lucky. There is a random chance every time you encounter an Origin Forme Palkia that it can know Spacial Rend. The odds for this seem to be somewhere between 1 in 10 and 1 in 20. Niantic don't publish the official odds.

You'll also need to make sure you hunt your Origin Forme Palkia's sooner rather than later. This powerful Pokémon is in Raids until November 27. However, only Origin Forme Palkia's caught in Pokémon GO before 11:59 PM local time on November 24 have a chance to know Spacial Rend. All Trainers, regardless of any tickets, have the same chance to get the move.

This can make finding a good IV Origin Forme Palkia with the move a challenge. You'll likely need to take on a lot of Raids this week.

If you get really unlucky (or just can't be bothered!) you can also trade someone for an Origin Forme Palkia with Spacial Rend. This move does not disappear when traded. This would also allow you to lucky trade Palkia that have the move, if you are looking for better IVs.
