Pokémon GO December 2024 Max Mondays schedule

Max Mondays are a relatively new weekly event in Pokémon GO, and they are continuing through December 2024. Each Monday, a different Dynamax Pokémon is featured across all Power Spots. This is a great chance to get out and grind as many Dynamax Max Battles as possible, focusing on a specific Pokémon. This takes place between 6pm and 7pm local time.

With some big Gigantamax debuts coming over the next few weeks, getting your hands on some good Dynamax Pokémon is really important. Here are all the Max Mondays in Pokémon GO coming during December 2024.

Here are all the Dynamax Pokémon featured during December 2024's Max Mondays.

The first featured Pokémon in December will be Dynamax Squirtle. This is a great chance to grind yourself a good Blastoise, if you don't have one already. Additionally, Gigantamax Blastoise is a great Pokémon. If you want to level up its Max Moves, you will need Squirtle XL Candy. These Max Battles can be a great way to get some additional XL candy towards this.

The second featured Pokémon is Dynamax Krabby. This is a brand new debut coming during Pokémon GO Dual Destiny and will add an additional Water-type Dynamax Pokémon to the mix. Kingler, the evolution, is a decent Pokémon and will be a useful Dynamax to have in your collection.

We're getting another familiar face during the third of December 2024's Pokémon GO Max Mondays. During this hour, Dynamax Charmander will be the featured Dynamax Pokémon. The same need for XL candy applies as with Squirtle. In addition, Charizard has a really cool shiny version and has a range of moves that make it a pretty flexible Pokémon.

Krabby isn't the only Dynamax debut we are getting in December, and December 23 will feature another of the new Dynamax Pokémon releasing in the game. Keeping with a holiday theme, Dynamax Cryogonal is coming into Pokémon GO.

This isn't a super powerful Pokémon, but it will be the most accessible Ice-type Dynamax Pokémon in the game at release and therefore is an important addition to your collection for future battles.

Rounding out the year will be a Max Monday featuring Dynamax Bulbasaur. Once again, with the Gigantamax Venusaur released, this is a great chance to get XL candy to reach the third level of Max Moves on that Pokémon.

If you didn't get a Gigantamax Venusaur, then you can focus on getting a strong Dynamax Venusaur instead. Helpfully, Venusaur also has a Mega Evolution so this can be a very flexible Pokémon to have in your collection.
