Own a limited-edition canine using Adopt Me!’s new Pet Releaser feature!
With the release of the Pet Releaser Update in Adopt Me!, players can now obtain and collect multiple copies of the Ultra-Rare Dire Wolf pet.
This ancient wolf species was known for its distinctive light brown fur. While its real-world counterpart would have been hostile toward humans, Adopt Me!’s Dire Wolf is far more approachable, offering players a much more docile and companion-friendly version of the prehistoric predator.
Here’s everything you need to learn to get a new Dire Wolf pet, in case you missed last week’s update.

Where can you get a Dire Wolf in 'Adopt Me!'?
To own a Dire Wolf, you can buy it at the Pet Releaser Shop, hatch one from a Basic or Crystal Egg, or get one through trading.
Method 1: Buying a Dire Wolf at the Pet Releaser Shop

As long as the Pet Releaser Update is active, you can go to the Adoption Island and go to the new Pet Releaser area, which is in the same spot as the previous event areas in the game (right beside the Hospital).
Here, you can release your pets, which earns you Tickets, and also spend those Tickets for a Dire Wolf, Giant Panda, Basic Egg, or Crystal Egg. The Dire Wolf costs 3,000 Tickets, so to get that amount, you should be willing to release some of your pets, ideally those low-rarity Neons that you have.
If you don’t have a Neon pet yet, start by farming Bucks and consistently buying the same type of egg. Focusing on one egg type increases your chances of hatching four pets of the same species. Once they’re fully grown, you can combine them to create your own Neon pet.
Method 2: Hatching a Dire Wolf from eggs

This method is far cheaper and easier than simply releasing pets, but the odds still make it an inefficient way to target a Dire Wolf specifically. But if you want some extra pets that you can release, you can specifically target going for Basic or Crystal Eggs.
Both eggs have a chance to hatch a Dire Wolf, but the odds vary dramatically. The Basic Egg offers just a 0.99 percent chance, while the Crystal Egg boosts that rate to 44%. However, those percentages are shared across all Ultra-Rare pets in the egg’s pool, meaning your actual odds of pulling a Dire Wolf are even lower if you’re targeting it specifically.
You can get Basic and Crystal Eggs at the Pet Releaser Shop for 400 and 4,000 Tickets, respectively.
Method 3: Trading

Like all other pets in the game, you can look for someone with a Dire Wolf and offer a trade with them. As an Ultra-Rare pet, and also putting its difficulty of obtainment into consideration, here are some examples of items that you can offer to a player who’s willing to trade their Dire Wolf:
- Neon Fire Foal
- 2x Fire Stallion (Base form)
- Red Squirrel
- 4x Aztec Egg
- Neon Muskrat
- 2x Choco Penguin
