RRQ vs FNC: Looking for revenge
RRQ vs FNC at Champions 2025 is their first showdown on this stage, but not their first encounter. At Masters Toronto, RRQ made their international debut and battled their way into the Playoffs Stage, only to fall to Wolves Esports and later Fnatic in the Lower Bracket.
This time, though, RRQ comes in as a different team, sharper, more experienced, and determined to showcase the true strength of the Pacific region. However, Fnatic is not an ordinary team. They will do everything in their power to win this clash.

RRQ vs FNC at Champions 2025: Match recaps
Be sure to check back here for all the match highlights as the action unfolds.
Map 1: Ascent
The first map was an absolute thriller. RRQ and FNATIC went blow for blow, trading rounds almost every time. The pace was relentless, the decisions lightning-fast, no room to breathe, just pure VALORANT. FNATIC’s efficiency gave them a narrow 7–5 edge at halftime, and the second half didn’t look much better for RRQ, as the EMEA giants came out swinging with a strong pistol round and early dominance.
The second match turned into more of a patience game, but FNATIC came in riding the hype. Chronicle delivered a jaw-dropping moment, taking down three players with a single Guardian bullet and finishing the round with a flawless ace. With FNATIC brimming with confidence, how could RRQ possibly stand their ground? Well, RRQ did. They embraced the chaos, diving into a storm of abilities and relying on their confidence to shift the momentum of the match. It was enough for FNATIC to use their time-out moment.
RRQ has been adapting impressively to FNC’s strategy in their first Champions 2025 run. Even when rounds didn’t start in their favor, they used their ability kit to seize control of the map and consistently force FNATIC into tough situations. In a crucial match, RRQ’s Kushy proved decisive with an incredible ace that completely shifted the momentum of the game. When RRQ seems to be retaking control over the match, FNATIC just remembers why they are such an impactful team. The first map goes to FNATIC!
Map 2: Abyss
Abyss is back on track to host RRQ vs FNATIC at Champions 2025. The crowd was going wild for RRQ, which makes for an interesting scene considering the tournament is taking place in Paris, France. RRQ started way more confident in their power as a team, taking control of the initial rounds, but FNATIC started to recover fast from the pressure. However, RRQ was determined to take as many rounds as possible for their happy ending after the loss in map one.
It didn’t take long for the FNATIC IGL to start popping off, silencing recent criticisms about being a burden to the team and proving he’s just as impactful as his teammates. RRQ started to be less confident, making more mistakes, and that reflected on the score. In the end, RRQ was way too shaken to change the destiny of this map. RRQ will now face BLG in the Lower Bracket, while FNATIC will face MIBR.
