The first map between XLG and Sentinels was tightly contested, with mistakes on both sides keeping the game balanced and preventing any single player from standing out. As the rounds progressed, however, Sentinels gradually took control and closed out the map with a narrow 13-10 victory. N4RRATE was crucial for this victory due to the great use of Omen's kit.

On the second map, XLG stepped in with renewed confidence, opting for a rare triple-sentinel composition anchored by an aggressive, oppressive Sage that dictated the pace of play. Even on the attacking side, where such a setup is often considered weaker, they proved that triple-sentinel can be just as impactful, showcasing its strength throughout the match.

With a great first half, XLG was determined to take this series to a third map. In the second half, Sentinels began to close the gap, steadily chipping away at the deficit. However, when they were so close to taking the match to overtime, they didn't win the last round, giving the victory to XLG.

Map three was do-or-die for both teams, and the game lived up to that intensity. It was a back-and-forth battle, with each side capitalizing on every opportunity, resulting in a 6-6 deadlock at halftime. After the break, however, XLG proved far too strong.

Sentinels struggled to match their precision in crosshair placement, and communication breakdowns caused critical cracks in their strategy. XLG’s consistency was unmatched, allowing them to define their own destiny and secure another shot at the Playoffs. Next, they will need to defeat the winner of the DRG vs G2 match.
