Astra Yao in ZZZ
Astra Yao is an S-rank Ether Support Agent. She is the second S-rank Support Agent, following Rina who is available through the standard banner.
She will debut the new faction, Stars of Lyra, alongside her manager and bodyguard Evelyn Chevalier.
She goes live with the ZZZ version 1.5 update. You can view all of the materials she needs here.

Basic Attack
Basic Attack "Capriccio"
3-hit combo that deals Ether DMG.
Holding during the third hit results in a bigger attack range, draws in enemies, and deals more damage.
Holding the Attack button after using other skills immediately performs the third hit.
Basic Attack: Interlude
While in the Idyllic Cadenza state, press to release Tremolo forward and deal Ether DMG. Hitting an enemy triggers Quick Assist.
Basic Attack: Chorus
While in the Idyllic Cadenza state, press Attack during a Perfect Dodge to release multiple Tremolo attacks forward and deal massive Ether DMG. Triggers Quick Assist and grants Invulnerability.
Basic Attack: Finale
While in the Idyllic Cadenza state, hold to release Tremolo forward to deal Ether DMG and exit the state.
- Activates Core Passive: "Graceful Andante".
- If Energy is sufficient, consumes Energy to follow up with 1 Tremolo and 3 Tone Clusters as an EX Special Attack.
Special Attack
Special Attack: "Windchimes & Oaths"
Press Special to:
- Move quickly and release Tremolo to deal Ether DMG and enter the Idyllic Cadenza state.
Hold Special to:
- Charge and draw enemies in, then release multiple Tremolos based on charge duration.
Triggers Quick Assist upon hitting an enemy, and grants Invulnerability.

While in this state, Astra:
- Boosts all squad members' DMG and CRIT DMG.
- Cannot move, but can:
- Use Basic Attack: Interlude
- Dodge
- Trigger a Perfect Dodge and use Basic Attack: Chorus
- Increases her Anti-Interrupt Level and reduces DMG taken.
- Remains on the field when switching characters and becomes Invulnerable. Upon switching back to her, triggers "Windchimes & Oaths."
- Hold Attack to use Basic Attack: Finale and exit the state.
Chord
Gain 1 Chord for every 25 Energy held.
While Astra is in the Idyllic Cadenza state and has at least 1 Chord, Quick Assist triggers when the active character's attack or heavy attack hits the enemy. These have separate cooldowns.
When switching characters:
- Consume Energy to release 1 Tremolo as an EX Special Attack
- Press Switch quickly after Quick Assist to trigger Precise Assist and release Tone Clusters.
- Chain, Defensive, or Evasive Assists also trigger Precise Assist automatically.
Dodge
Dodge: "Mini Waltz"
Press Dodge to perform a dash dodge.
Dodge Attack: "Lunar Eclipse Melody"
Press Attack during a dodge to deal Ether DMG. Movement is allowed during this action.
Dodge Counter: "Umbrella Waltz"
Press Attack during a Perfect Dodge to deal Ether DMG and become Invulnerable.
Chain Attack
Chain Attack: "Tipsy Concerto"
Become Invulnerable, deal massive Ether DMG, and enter the Idyllic Cadenza state.
Ultimate: "Fantasian Sonata"
- Deal massive Ether DMG and restore HP to all squad members.
- Become Invulnerable and enter the Idyllic Cadenza state.
- Replace the next two Quick Assists with Chain Attacks.
Core Skill
Core Passive: "Graceful Andante"
Give Astra and the incoming character an ATK buff while:
- Astra is in the Idyllic Cadenza state, or
- When other characters switch in using Quick Assist, Chain Attack, Defensive Assist, or Evasive Assist, or
- Astra Yao expends Energy to release Tremolo
Additional Ability: "Moonlit Frenzy"
When another squad member is Attack or Anomaly:
- Astra will follow up with a Tremolo and Tone Clusters when Energy is consumed to trigger a Precise Assist or Basic Attack: Finale.
Astra Yao Mindscape Cinema in ZZZ
- 12-Tone Equal Temperament
- Astra's attacks reduce the target's All-Attribute RES. This is a stacking debuff and refreshes on hit.
- Gain 1,000 Decibels upon entering the field.
- Ultimate: "Fantasian Sonata" now grants all squad members 1 stack of Song of Protection for a limited time.
- Song of Protection is consumed when the character is attacked to grant a short Invulnerability.
- Art of Greed
- Increase the efficacy of the ATK buff from Graceful Andante.
- While in Idyllic Cadenza, other characters switching in via Quick Assist, Chain Attack, Defensive Assist, or Evasive Assist will cause Astra to follow up with a Tremolo and Tone Clusters.
- Interwoven Staff Notation
- Increases level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack by 2.
- Hair Upon Your Nape
- After a Chain Attack or Ultimate, Astra can trigger Quick Assist without Chords for 15s.
- Hitting an enemy reduces Quick Assist cooldown.
- In Idyllic Cadenza, when other characters enter via Quick Assist, gain buffs based on their specialty:
- Attack: Next heavy attack deals bonus DMG (300% of Astra’s ATK).
- Anomaly: Increases Anomaly Buildup by 50%.
- Stun: Increases Daze infliction by 50%.
- Proxy and Silk String
- Increases level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack by 2.
- We Are the World
- While in Idyllic Cadenza, increase CRIT Rate% and Tremolo and Tone Cluster DMG multipliers.
- When triggering Precise Assist:
- Astra automatically uses the charged 3rd hit of Basic Attack: Capriccio with an increased CRIT Rate.
