Konami is back, but in a different way.
Konami has joined a growing list of companies that have secured a supplier license in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It will allow the Japanese gaming giant to distribute its casino games to licensed operators in the country.
Ever since it established the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), the UAE government has been working tirelessly to build a regulated gaming market. Earlier in July, US-based Light & Wonder also acquired a vendor license for iGaming and land-based casinos in the UAE.
It was a bold affirmation on how quickly things are moving to establish the UAE’s first online casino. Now with Konami joining the roster of licensed vendors, players have plenty more to look forward to.
