Call of Duty players have been playing the Modern Warfare 2 campaign and it's been getting rave reviews for its visuals, story, and the return of popular characters from the 2019 Modern Warfare campaign.
The returning characters include:
- Captain John Price
- Kyle Garrick
- Simon "Ghost" Riley
- Alejandro Vargas
The characters are brought to life thanks to their layered personalities, interesting backstories, and the actors that give life to their voice lines. Here are the voice actors behind these popular Modern Warfare characters.
Captain John Price — Barry Sloane
Sloane was born in Liverpool where he trained as a musician and actor before landing his first professional acting role in a feature film about John Lennon. Sloane also was also part of the Broadway cast of Jerusalem. He also appeared in ABC's science fiction drama The Whispers and was a series regular on a few other shows.
Captain Price was contacted by CIA agent Kate Laswell about the Russian nerve gas crisis. He agreed to help with the operation due to its urgency, which is what led to him being a part of the Modern Warfare 2019 campaign.

Kyle Garrick — Elliot Knight

Simon "Ghost" Riley — Samuel Roukin
Roukin had an interest in drama from a very young age. He was born in England and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting after training at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School. He has starred in a variety of movies and television shows, usually covering serious topics like serial killers and American Revolutionary War spies. He has replaced Jeff Leach as the voice of Ghost in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Alejandro Vargas — Alain Mesa
Mesa is a Cuban-American actor that studied at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. He then received a BA in theater from the Florida International University. He's done live action dubbing as well as animated dubbing. He is also the voice of Alejandro Vargas, the newest member of Task Force 141, an elite counter-terrorism unit. He is a Tier one Mexican Special Forces operator.
