Call of Duty have officially announced the content Roadmap for both Vanguard and Warzone, and it is brimming with content.

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have announced the roadmap for all of the content that is due to arrive in both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Here is what we know so far.

Call of Duty Vanguard Season 1 Roadmap

Multiplayer

Leading the pack in Sledgehammer's info-dump on October 28, we got a good look at the content that will be coming to Vanguard at launch and for Season 1. Vanguard, which is set for release on November 5, will be launching with 20 multiplayer maps; a fact that has gotten longtime CoD fans excited again.

Later on November 17, Sledgehammer will be giving player's access to the classic map Shipment for free. This means there will be a total of 21 multiplayer maps around the time of release. More than twice that of Cold War's disappointing count of 10 maps at launch last year. And this is what awaits CoD players in Vanguard at launch.

Zombies

Multiplayer is not the only mode that will be graced with content at launch. Vanguard will be showcasing a new path for Zombies as this mode will be handled by Treyarch; with their new map Der Anfang. Touted as a "franchise-first" this will be the first time that we will see a character crossover for Zombies, as we delve deeper into the Dark Aether storyline.

The Vanguard roadmap outlines that there will be more frequent updates for the beloved game mode from December 2nd onwards. We aren't entirely sure as to what those updates could mean. We are nevertheless hopeful that Vanguard's Zombies mode will receive the love that it deserves.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 Roadmap

As if there wasn't enough content to look forward to, we also got a peek at what is in store for Warzone. Raven Software looks set to be giving the popular Battle Royale mode a much-needed refresher during the Vanguard season.

Starting off the preseason, Raven will be releasing the "Operation: Flashback" limited-time mode on November 18. This new LTM will take Warzone players on a trip down memory lane as we celebrate Verdansk's 18-month stint in the game. It will then be followed with the "End of Verdansk" LTM on November 30 in which we will at long last bid farewell to the Verdansk map.

Following the integration on December 2, we will at long last be welcomed to the brand new Warzone map, Caldera. This new map, inspired by the Pacific theatre of the Second World War, will feature a variety of new areas of interest, weapons and vehicles. The game will also be rebranding to Warzone Pacific following Caldera's release.

The roadmap for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone is chock full of content and we cannot wait to get our hands on it!
