Fan-favorite weapons leaked for Black Ops 6 Season 3

Ahead of the Season 3 start date in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, leaks are starting to emerge from extremely reputable sources. The leaks so far have mostly centered around the arrival of Verdansk, the classic map from the original iteration of Warzone. Verdansk is rumored to also arrive with the Season 3 update. With Activision seemingly banking on Verdansk bringing back players to Warzone, the company is also trying to win favor with players by returning some fan-favorite weapons as well.

Leaks have surfaced that indicate three or four classic weapons from the Verdansk days of Warzone are set to come back in Black Ops 6 Season 3. Whether these leaks end up being true or not remains to be seen, but you can see what weapons are included in the leaks below.

These leaks come from two different sources, but both are highly reputable. The original leaks stem from TheGhostOfHope on Twitter/X, who has become a go-to source for insider knowledge in Call of Duty and gaming in general. Shortly after that account posted their leaks, CharlieIntel also leaked some weapons that are supposedly coming with Season 3.

These leaks are in no way official and should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, with two of the most well-known Call of Duty accounts on Twitter/X leaking the same weapons, it's more than likely we see them at some point during the course of Season 3.

According to the leaks, here are the weapons rumored to arrive in the next major update of Black Ops 6:

Right off the bat, it seems strange that Activision would release three separate assault rifles over the course of a single season. However, those three ARs are synonymous with the Verdansk days in Warzone, so it would make sense for all of them to be released with the map. As with the HDR, this was the original primary sniper in Warzone and long-time players remember the bolt-action fondly.

Going by what Activision has done with recent Black Ops 6 seasons, we could see three of these leaked weapons arrive with the Season 3 Battle Pass. However, four weapons have never been available at the start of a new season, so one or two of them will likely be reserved for the Reloaded update in Season 3.

As for other potential weapons in Season 3, none have been leaked so far. However, with so many ARs apparently coming to the game, we should see some other weapon classes also represented. Of course, there's no telling when those weapons would arrive or what they would be.

Season 3 of Black Ops 6 is currently rumored to launch sometime in late March and Verdansk is allegedly coming with it. We'll keep this guide updated with any future leaks and news.
