The Deadeye Drone is the first scorestreak addition in Black Ops 7, but how is it unlocked?

One of the most exciting, and still underrated, additions coming in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the Deadeye Drone scorestreak. We saw this remote-controlled streak tear up enemies in the official Season 1 trailer, but it didn't arrive with the rest of the new content at the start of the season.

Fortunately, the Deadeye Drone is coming soon in Black Ops 7, and here's how and when you can unlock it in multiplayer.

Unlocking the Deadeye Drone in Black Ops 7 Season 1

Like the Ballistic Knife and a ton of other Season 1 content, the Deadeye Drone is unlocked through the Weekly Challenges system. At the time of writing, two weeks have gone by without seeing the Deadeye Drone, which means that Week 3 of the Weekly Challenges will feature the scorestreak as the reward.

To unlock the Deadeye Drone, you have to complete six Week 3 challenges across multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, or Warzone. There are 24 total challenges in Week 3 across the four different game modes, and you just have to complete six of them in whatever fashion you'd like.

So, for example, if you complete three challenges in BO7 multiplayer, two in Endgame, and then one in Warzone, that still earns you the Deadeye Drone since you completed six total. However, you can also just complete all six challenges in one game mode and still earn the reward.

Once you've completed six Weekly Challenges in Week 3, you'll immediately earn the Deadeye Drone in Black Ops 7. You can then head into your scorestreaks tab and equip the streak.

As a note, you don't have to complete the Week 3 Weekly Challenges in a timely manner. As long as you complete the challenges by the end of Season 1, you'll still be able to unlock the Deadeye Drone through the Week 3 challenges.

The Deadeye Drone costs 575 score to earn, and has these two Overclocks available to earn and equip:

  • Extended Mag: Increases the sniper rifle's magazine size
  • Grenadier: Adds a grenade for aerial bombing

That's everything you need to know about unlocking the Deadye Drone in Black Ops 7! Week 3 of Season 1 also brings the Sokol 545 light machine gun, which is unlocked through an in-game event that starts soon.
